Downtown Disturbance On March 3, 2016 at 12:15 a.m., Guelph Police were called to a disturbance in a restaurant located in downtown Guelph. There were no serious injuries involved in this incident.

On March 3, 2016 at 12:15 a.m., Guelph Police were called to a disturbance in a restaurant located in downtown Guelph. There were no serious injuries involved in this incident. As a result of the investigation, two males were arrested:

Christian Laurenza, a 19-year-old Brampton male, was charged with cause disturbance and mischief under $5,000. He has an April 15, 2016 court date.

Louis Piquemal, a 19-year-old Waterloo male, was charged with assault, uttering threats and mischief under $5,000. He has an April 15, 2016 court date

Shoplifter with Drugs Arrested

On March 3, 2016 Guelph Police were called to a department store in the north end, where store security had arrested a male. As a result of the investigation, a 25-year-old Guelph male, Kyle Payne, was arrested and charged with theft under $5,000, possession of a controlled substance and breaching his probation order.  He has an April 15, 2016 court date.
