On May 26, 2016 at 6:01 p.m., the Guelph Police went to a Westwood Road apartment to investigate the report that a male displayed a knife during a verbal altercation with another male. Police located the responsible male and he was arrested.

Assault

On May 26, 2016 at 6:01 p.m., the Guelph Police went to a Westwood Road apartment to investigate the report that a male displayed a knife during a verbal altercation with another male. Police located the responsible male and he was arrested.

Jessie Knapp, 18 years old of Guelph has been charged with weapons dangerous, assault with a weapon and two counts of breach of probation. He will appear in court on July 5, 2016.

Weapons call

On May 26, 2016 at 6:20 p.m., the Guelph Police went to the Norwich Street area for the report that a group of youths ran after a male displayed a machete. Police located the male and he was arrested without incident. A small quantity of drugs was discovered subsequent to his arrest.

Devin Patrie-Campbell, 20 years old of Guelph has been charged with weapons dangerous and possession of a controlled substance. He will appear in court on July 8, 2016.

Stolen bike

On May 26, 2016 at 1:45 p.m., the Guelph Police High Enforcement Action Team (HEAT) observed a male carrying a bicycle frame on Carden Street. Investigation discovered that the bike had been reported stolen and the male was arrested.

Jefferey Dillon, 29 years old of Guelph has been charged with possession of stolen property and two counts of breach of probation. He will appear in court on July 5, 2016.
