Theft from vehicle, calls for service

The following is a news release issued by the Guelph Police Service:

Earlier this morning at approximately 5 a.m., police were investigating two males that were believed to be entering vehicles in the area of Speedvale Avenue east. The two were found in possession of property that was taken from a vehicle from the area and were arrested.

The 23 and 33-year-old Guelph men are jointly charged with possession of break-instruments, possession of property obtained by crime and breach of probation.  The two were held in custody to appear in bail  court today.

Over the course of the day on October 26, 2017 the Guelph Police Service responded to 258 calls for service.
