Gosling Gardens collision under investigation (updated)

On Tuesday, Sept. 19, 2017 at 8:25 a.m., the Guelph Police Service were called to the area of Gosling Gardens Drive and Doyle Drive, where there was a report of a collision. The collision was between two vehicles, a silver Honda Accord, driven by a 56-year-old Guelph male and a dark grey Toyota Camry, driven by a 48-year-old Niagara Falls man.

Both drivers and a passenger in the Honda were transported to Guelph General Hospital by ambulance. The drivers were released with minor injuries and the passenger, who is pregnant, is being held at the hospital for observation. Gosling Gardens was closed for approximately three hours for the investigation.

Guelph Police Service is cautioning motorists to avoid the area of Gosling Gardens as it investigates a motor vehicle collision.

Traffic is currently being diverted from the area as the investigation continues.

The road closure is expected to last at least two hours.
