Guelph man accused of administering something noxious

On Oct. 8, 2016, the Guelph Police responded to an altercation in the lobby of a downtown apartment complex.

Investigation led police to issue an arrest warrant for a 22-year-old Guelph male for the following offences:

Weapons dangerous, assault with a weapon, carry a concealed weapon, possession of a prohibited weapon, administer noxious thing and 2 counts of breach of probation.

On Nov. 17, 2016, the 22-year-old accused party was located at a business on Eramosa Road and arrested on the strength of the warrant.

As a result of the arrest the accused was further charged with:

Possession of a prohibited weapon, carry a concealed weapon X2, breach of probation X3, possession for the purpose of trafficking.

The accused was held for a bail hearing.
