Guelph man accused of attempting to return items he didn't pay for

On Dec. 15, 2018, a male attended a retail store on Woodlawn Road and was observed selecting several items throughout the store. The male then attended to customer service and (allegedly) tried to return the items that he had not purchased.

As a result, Ryan Watson, a 44-year-old Guelph male, was arrested for fraud under $5,000, theft under $5,000, as well as breaching his probation.

Watson is scheduled to appear in court on Feb. 8, 2019.
