Guelph man accused of driving more than 50km/h over speed limit

He lost his vehicle and licence for seven days as a result

On July 17, 2018 at approximately 4:14 a.m., Guelph Police observed a motor vehicle travelling at a high rate of speed westbound on Woodlawn Road. Police activated the radar and locked the vehicle speed in at 106 km/hr in a posted 50 km/hr zone.

The driver, a 29-year-old Guelph male, was charged with stunt driving and speeding. The male was issued a seven-day drivers licence suspension and had his vehicle impounded for seven days.
