On Aug. 17, at approximately 8 p.m., Guelph Police responded to a report of a male using a saw to cut through a hydro pole.
The male was quickly located by police and arrested.
The 58-year-old Guelph male was charged with mischief under $5,000 and possession of break-in instruments. He was later released on a promise to appear with a court date of Oct. 1.
