On Nov. 30, 2019, police attended an address on Waterloo Avenue in regard to a dropped 911 call.
Police attended and located a 65-year-old Guelph male who had been bitten a number of times in the face. He was subsequently transported to the hospital for treatment.
As a result of the incident, police arrested the (allegedly) responsible individual, a 55-year-old Guelph male who was known to the victim, for assault cause bodily harm.
The accused was transported back to the Guelph Police Service and further held for a bail hearing.
