On April 5, 2019 at approximately 3:30 a.m., Guelph Police received an emergency call for service in the area of Valleyview Drive in Guelph. Upon arrival, an adult female was found to be in medical distress with injuries that are considered to be life-threatening. She was subsequently transported to hospital and then to a trauma centre for treatment.
Investigation resulted in the arrest of a 26-year-old Guelph male for attempt murder. He will be appearing in Guelph Court later today. Police presence will remain in the area as the investigation continues.
