Guelph man charged with theft. Again

The accused, who had recently been arrested for shoplifting, was charged in another theft investigation

On May 3, 2018, at approximately 2:30 p.m., Guelph police were called to a south end hardware store, where there was a report of a theft. Investigation led to the identity of the suspect. The suspect in the incident had recently been arrested for shoplifting and released with a court date.

At 3 p.m. the suspect was located and arrested again. A 24-year-old Guelph man has been charged with theft under $5,000, possession of stolen property and three counts of breaching his probation order. He was held for a bail hearing.
