Guelph man charged with threatening police officers

A Guelph man faces several charges after he threatened two police officers while being arrested Monday.

Approximately 10 a.m. officers located a male known to be wanted on outstanding charges in the area of York Road and Watson Parkway South. While attempting to arrest him, the male threatened to harm both officers if they did not let him go, police report.

A 31-year-old is charged with two counts of uttering threats to cause bodily harm, failing to comply with a court order, breaching probation and failing to attend court.
