Guelph man clocked doing over twice speed limit on Woolwich Street

Guelph police report that a Guelph man was taken off the road Thursday after he was caught driving more than twice the posted speed limit.

Just before noon, police were conducting speed enforcement on Woolwich Street near Marilyn Drive when he clocked a vehicle travelling 84 km/h in a posted 40 km/h zone.

A 21-year-old is charged with speeding and stunt driving. His driver’s licence was suspended for 30 days and his vehicle was impounded for 14 days.
