On Dec. 27, 2018, the Guelph Police Service Internet Child Exploitation (I.C.E.) Unit entered into a child pornography investigation. On Feb. 21, 2019, police executed a search warrant at a Whitelaw Road residence.
As a result of the investigation, Charles Jaquin, a 51 year old Guelph male, was arrested and charged with possession of child pornography, access child pornography and make child pornography available. He was given an April 18, 2019 court date.
