Guelph man faces weapons charge

In the early afternoon of Sept. 22, a male was walking with his dog through a College Avenue parking lot when a male he did not know accosted him and threatened him. Police were provided a description of the male and a short while later the male was located on Stone Road and arrested for uttering threats to cause bodily harm. The male was further charged with possession of a weapon dangerous to the public peace when he was found in possession of a folding knife.

The 21-year-old Guelph male was held in custody to appear in bail court.
