On August 10, 2019, a 66-year-old Guelph Female was parked in the Guelph Police parking lot while engaging in a verbal altercation with her spouse.

The female eventually left the parking lot and ran over a curb on her way out of the lot.

Police attended to speak with the male party involved who remained on foot in the parking lot.

The female party eventually returned to the police lot in her vehicle where officers intervened and a strong odour of alcohol was detected on her breath.

After a fail was registered on the approved screening device (ASD), the female was subsequently arrested for operation while impaired over 80mg of alcohol in 100ml of blood.
