Guelph Police makes arrest after man seen entering vehicles, property recovered

On Dec. 7, 2019, at approximately 2 a.m., Guelph Police were called into the area of Fife Road regarding a male entering vehicles. Police were able to locate the male and return some of the property that was stolen to the rightful owners. There is still some property that has not been returned.

Police are requesting that if you live in the area of Fife Road, Gateway Drive and Pamela Place and you are missing items from your vehicle to contact Cst A. Shutsa at [email protected] as your property may have been recovered.

The Guelph Police Service would like to remind the public to please lock your vehicles and keep valuables out of your vehicles.

On Dec. 6th, 2019, the Guelph Police received three reports of theft from cars. The locations were Norma Crescent, Speedvale Avenue West, and Nottingham Street.

This crime is easily avoidable. Please lock your cars and do not leave belongings visible. If you do become a victim of this crime, you can report it though the Guelph Police online reporting portal.
