A Guelph man faces child pornography charges following an investigation by the Guelph Police Service Internet Child Exploitation unit.
In October, information was received from the US-based National Centre for Missing and Exploited Children about images which had been uploaded in August to a social media site. Investigation led to the identity of the person who uploaded the images.
On Thursday an 18-year-old Guelph man – who was 17 at the time of the offence – was arrested and charged with possessing child pornography and making child pornography available.
