On Aug. 12, 2018 at approximately 11 p.m., Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police responded along with Guelph-Wellington Emergency Medical Services and Guelph Fire Department to a serious single vehicle collision on Guelph Township Road 1 near Fife Road in Guelph/Eramosa Twp.
Reports indicate that control was lost of a 1992 Honda which left the roadway and struck a tree.
The 50-year-old male driver and lone occupant was pronounced deceased at the scene and has been identified as Yadvir Sahota of Cambridge.
OPP Technical Collision Investigators attended the scene and continue to investigate the collision.
