Guelph woman accused of ramming police cruiser

It was reported that she narrowly missed hitting an officer during the incident. There was extensive damage to the cruiser

On Sept. 15, 2018 at approximately 11:07 a.m., Guelph Police received a call about an erratic driver in the area of Scottsdale Drive and Stone Road. Police attended to the area and located the vehicle stopped in the area of Scottsdale Drive and Kortright Road.

Police positioned their cruiser in front of the responsible vehicle. At this point, the vehicle rammed the cruiser, striking the driver side door and narrowly missing an officer. There was extensive damage to the cruiser.

Courtney Duschesne-Bloom, a 20-year-old Guelph women, was arrested for dangerous driving, as well as breaching her probation order and breaching a recognizance. Duschesne-Bloom appeared in court on Sept. 16, 2018.
