TOWNSHIP OF GUELPH/ERAMOSA - On June 20, 2018 at approximately 5:30 p.m., Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police responded to a serious collision involving two motor vehicles on Highway 7, between Guelph and Rockwood. Initial reports indicated that an SUV and a sedan had collided head on.

A 71-year-old Guelph woman was airlifted to a trauma centre with life-threatening injuries and is now considered to be stable and in intensive care.

The cause of the collision is still under investigation. The roadway has been re-opened.
