Gunmen hit gas bar, store in back-to-back robberies

Gun point robberies investigated

On October 27, 2016 the Guelph Police investigated two gunpoint robberies.

The first occurred at 12:06 a.m., two males entered the Gas Bar on Imperial Road South and robbed the store clerk of cash and cigarettes at gunpoint.

Then at 12:09 a.m., two suspects entered the convenience store on Paisley Road North and robbed the lone clerk of cash and cigarettes at gun point.

The locations are directly across the street from one another and the robberies are believed to be related.

There is no further information at this time as the police investigation is ongoing. Further updates will be made as information becomes available.
