TOWNSHIP OF CENTRE WELLINGTON - The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Wellington County detachment investigated a break and enter at 25 Hamilton Street in the Village of Elora.

On Apr. 29, 2017 at approximately 12 a.m. police received a call regarding a break and enter to a storage locker at the above address. Investigation has revealed that sometime between Apr. 8, 2017 and Apr. 26, 2017 unknown suspect(s) cut the lock to the storage unit. 

Once inside the suspect(s) proceeded to cut the wall of a gun safe and remove five long guns. When finished, the suspect(s) placed a new lock on the storage unit to disguise the break and enter.
