On Dec. 31, 2016 at approximately 7:15 p.m. members of the Guelph Police “HEAT” High Enforcement Action Team were in the area downtown core when they observed a drug transaction between two males.
Both males were arrested and search incident to arrest and officers seized a quantity of crystal methamphetamine and cocaine.
A 40-year-old Guelph male was charged with trafficking, 2 counts of possession for the purpose of trafficking and 5 counts of breach probation and held for a bail hearing.
A 36-year-old Guelph male was charged with possession of a controlled substance, obstruct police and 3 counts of breach probation and held for a bail hearing.
