Homeowner reports being choked, held at knife point by home invaders

On July 2, 2018 at approximately 10:30 p.m., Guelph Police were called to a residence on Alice Street for a report of a home invasion. It was alleged that at approximately 9:30 p.m., two males wearing masks entered the home and went to an upstairs bedroom where the resident was located. The resident was held at knife point by one of the males as items were being stolen from the room. The resident was then choked by one of the males before the two males left with stolen items.
