On March 21, 2018 at approximately 10 a.m., emergency services were called to the court house on Wyndham Street where a male that was in custody was in medical distress.
The male was transported to the Guelph General Hospital by ambulance. The Guelph Police Service has subsequently contacted the S.I.U. and they have invoked their mandate to investigate this matter.
The Guelph Police Service will not be providing any further information into this matter as it is now under investigation by the S.I.U.
