As a result of an investigation by the Guelph Police Service Drug Unit that started in early 2018, on May 11, 2018, there has been an arrest with a significant drug seizure. On May 11, the Drug Unit arrested a 47-year-old Guelph male and executed a search warrant on his south end residence.

As a result of the search warrant, drugs that are believed to be heroin, fentanyl, marijuana, cocaine, oxycodone, benzodiazepine and morphine were seized. The total value of the alleged drugs that were seized totals approximately $13,200.  In addition to the drugs, prohibited weapons and replica handguns were seized.

Jason Wall was arrested and charged with eight counts of possession of a controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking, two counts of possession of a prohibited weapon, four counts of possession of a prohibited weapon contrary to a court order and one count of breaching his probation order.

He was held for a bail hearing, which occurred on May 12, 2018.
