It was a bad Christmas for guys with arrest warrants

Police nabbed three of them over the holidays

On July 31, 2017 Guelph police initiated an investigation that resulted in an arrest warrant being issued for a 33-year-old Guelph male.

On Dec. 24, 2017, Guelph police were called to the intersection of Bristol Street and Willow Road to investigate a minor collision. The wanted male was at the collision scene and arrested. The 33-year-old is facing three counts of breaching his recognizance order. He was held for a bail hearing.

On Sept. 14, 2017 Guelph police initiated an investigation into a break-in located on Dumbarton. As a result of this investigation, on Nov. 30, 2017, an arrest warrant was issued for Darryl O’Brien, a 38-year-old Guelph male.

On Dec. 24, 2017 at approximately 3:30 p.m., the wanted person was located and arrested. He was charged with break and enter, mischief under $5,000 and breaching his probation order. He was given a Feb. 2, 2018 court date.

On Dec. 26, 2017 at approximately 12:20 p.m., police were called to an east end apartment complex for a matter. Police recognized a male that was there and knew him to be wanted. A 26-year-old Guelph male was arrested and charged with fail to re-attend court.
