On May 28, 2017 at 2:34 a.m. police responded to Flaherty Drive in response to four suspects believed to be stealing from cars.

When police arrived the four suspects fled on foot. K-9 General attended and tracked one of the suspects for 700 meters and located him hiding in a bushed area. A 15-year-old Guelph youth was arrested and later released unconditionally when he was not found with any stolen property.
