On June 22, 2018 at approximately 11:47 a.m., Guelph Police were called to a residential address on Harris Street in regard to a break in enter in progress. Police attended to the area and quickly set up a perimeter and the K9 unit was called in to assist. A short time later, a male was located and arrested.
Matthew Kochan, a 46-year-old Guelph male, was charged with break and enter and breaching his Probation Order. Kochan appeared in court on June 23, 2018.
