Laptops stolen in downtown smash and grab

A number of laptop computers were reported stolen following a break and enter at a downtown business Wednesday morning.

Approximately 5:20 a.m. the Guelph police were called to a business in the area of Norfolk Street and Quebec Street after a passerby noticed a large window had been smashed and there were rocks on the ground in the area.

Officers cleared the business and determined there was nobody inside. The owner of the business attended and confirmed a number of laptops had been stolen.
