TOWN OF MINTO - On Wednesday, May 8, 2019, at approximately 10 p.m., a Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officer was monitoring traffic on Wellington Road 109 near Teviotdale. The officer observed a white sedan travelling above the posted 80 km/h speed limit. The vehicle was locked on radar in excess of 150 km/h.
Raajan Sidhu, 34 years old of Port Elgin has been charged with race a motor vehicle contrary to the Highway Traffic Act and is scheduled to appear in Guelph Provincial Court on Aug. 21, 2019. Her driver's licence and vehicle were seized for a period of seven days as per statute.

The officer observed a grey sedan travelling above the posted 80 km/h speed limit. The vehicle was locked on radar in excess of 130 km/h.
Zachary Allan Wambolt, 20 years old of Markdale has been charged with race a motor vehicle contrary to the Highway Traffic Act and is scheduled to appear in Guelph Provincial Court on Aug. 21, 2019. His driver's licence and vehicle were seized for a period of seven days as per statute.

Kent Andrew Cotton, 52-years-old of Orangeville has been charged with race a motor vehicle contrary to the Highway Traffic Act and is scheduled to appear in Guelph Provincial Court on Aug. 21, 2019. His driver's licence and vehicle were seized for a period of seven days as per statute.
