On the afternoon of Aug. 12, 2019, two adult males began arguing in a store on the east end of the city. The altercation ended with one male [allegedly] spitting on the other. They both then went their separate ways leaving the store. Soon after, police located the responsible male at his residence and arrested him.
A 21-year-old Guelph male has been charged with assault. He will appear in court on Sept. 24, 2019.
