A Guelph male was arrested after he allegedly refused Wednesday evening to pay a large taxi fare.
Guelph police were called shortly after 7 p.m. to a plaza on Silvercreek Parkway North. A cab driver was reporting he had picked a male up approximately 6:20 p.m. and had driven him to a number of locations throughout the city. When the fare reached $120 the cabbie requested to be paid and the male refused.
A 67-year-old Guelph male was arrested at the scene for transportation fraud.
