Man accused of refusing to leave City Hall charged with possession crystal meth

On Jan. 9, 2019, Guelph Police were called to assist with Guelph bylaw in regard to a male who would not leave City Hall.

Guelph Police attended and the male was asked to leave several times. At approximately 8:43 a.m., Ryan Kramer, a 26-year-old Guelph, male was arrested under the Trespass to Property Act. An (alleged) struggle with officers ensued, and as a result, he was further charged with assault police, and assault police with intent to resist arrest.

(During) a search of Kramer, Police located what is believed to be crystal meth. He was further charged with possession of a controlled substance.

Kramer appeared in court on Jan. 9, 2019.
