On July 1, 2018 at approximately 10 a.m., Guelph Police responded to a report of a stolen vehicle on Silvercreek Parkway North. The owner advised that the keys had been placed near the front door. On June 30, 2018, the day prior, an unknown female had attended the owner’s residence and requested to use the phone. The owner allowed the female to enter and she made a phone call. A few hours later, the owner went to look for his keys but they were missing. The next morning, the owner went into the parking lot and his vehicle was gone.

The vehicle is described as a beige Toyota Corolla with a Scottish flag sticker on the left side of the trunk and a bug deflector on the edge of the hood.

The female is described as white, in her 40s with light brown hair. She was wearing a purple v-neck and track pants.

Guelph Police would like to remind citizens that if someone comes to your door asking for help, please do not let them into your residence or business. You can make a call for them or take a cell phone to them. If it is a scam, generally they will leave in a hurry. If they are legitimately in need, they won’t mind waiting outside.
