On May 25, 2017 at 7:55 a.m. a male was in the parking area of commercial property in downtown Guelph.
There was a brief exchange between this male and a security guard, which resulted in the security guard being assaulted. The security guard did not require any medical attention.
Police were called and a 38-year-old Guelph male was arrested and charged with assault and breaching his probation order. He was held for a bail hearing.
