A Guelph man arrested Wednesday for breaking into four businesses is now accused of entering six more.
The 25-year-old was charged Wednesday at an address on Willow Road. The charges relate to break-ins at four businesses in the northwest area of Guelph between Feb. 19 and March 10.
More than $5,000 worth of stolen property was recovered, as well as two conducted energy weapons and a set of brass knuckles.
Additional investigation of the seized property led to charges related to break-ins to six businesses just west of downtown on Nov. 6. Each of the businesses sustained damage when their doors were pried open and more than $5,000 worth of tools and computer equipment was stolen.
The man was charged Thursday with six additional counts of break and enter and additional counts of possessing break-in instruments and wearing a disguise with intent to commit an indictable offence. He was held for a bail hearing Friday.
