On June 23, 2019, at approximately 3 p.m., a 45-year-old Guelph male walked into the front entrance of the Guelph Police station. The male used the public washroom and then approached a 22-year-old Guelph female he did not know at the front counter who was reporting a matter to police. He grabbed the female in a sexual manner and was arrested immediately. The female did not suffer any physical injury.
The male will appear in court today to face charges of sexual assault and 2 counts of breach of probation.
