On July 5, 2017, at 1:20 a.m., Guelph Police received a call that there was a male in the trunk of a vehicle at the intersection of Lemon Street and Metcalfe Street, Guelph. The vehicle was located and stopped without incident on Wellington Street. The vehicle was searched and a male was found in the trunk and the driver was charged.
A 29-year-old Guelph male was charged with stunt driving and his vehicle was seized for seven days.
