The man had been released on an undertaking earlier this month with a condition not to attend his former residence on Elizabeth Street. Just before 11 p.m. Thursday officers saw him enter the property and collect some mail.

He was arrested for breaching his undertaking. A search incident to arrest revealed several credit cards, identification and mail from various addresses in the City of Guelph.

A 34-year-old is charged with breaching an undertaking, breaching probation, three counts of possessing stolen property, two counts of possessing identity documents and two counts of possessing a stolen credit card. He was held for a bail hearing Friday.
