On June 8, 2018 at approximately 12:30 a.m., Guelph Police observed a white BMW travelling at an excessive speed on Edinburgh Road South. The vehicle was stopped a short distance away and while speaking with the driver, police detected the odour of alcohol. The driver registered a fail on the roadside screening device and he was arrested.
Andrew Buchanan, a 38-year-old Guelph male, was given a court date of June 26, 2018.
