Man assaulted on Mac Avenue – public assistance requested

On Sunday March 5, 2017 at approximately 9:30 p.m.,  police were dispatched to the area of Mac Avenue and Dufferin Street in the city of Guelph for a report of an assault. 

A male was walking his dog in the area when the subject male approached the victim and attacked him by jumping on top of him and punching and kicking him numerous times.

The suspect is described as:  a white male, six feet tall with a heavy build, in his 30’s, who has a goatee and a moustache and was wearing a jacket with reflective stripes on it.
