On Dec. 22, 2017 a male entered a department store in the north end of Guelph and allegedly stole an item. The male was identified and a warrant for his arrest was issued.
On Dec. 27, 2017 that same male entered the same department store and staff immediately recognized him. Police were called and the male was arrested. Edmund Anderson, a 51-year-old Guelph male, was charged with theft under $5,000. He was released with a Feb. 6, 2018 court date.
