A Guelph man was arrested Saturday following a reported road rage incident.

Guelph police say that just before 4 p.m. a Guelph man was driving in the area of Stone Road West and the Hanlon Expressway when another motorist took exception to his driving. The other driver exited his vehicle and punched the victim in the face, causing a cut to the bridge of the nose which bled onto the victim’s shirt and pants.

The victim’s wife was able to get a photo of the suspect’s licence plate. A short time later the second man attended the police station to report the incident and was arrested.

A 34-year-old man is charged with assault.
