Meth seized in parking lot

TOWN OF MINTO - On Feb. 28, 2017 at approximately 7:50 a.m., Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officers were called to investigate a man sitting in 2011 Chevrolet that was in a parking lot in Harriston.

The man was identified and officers discovered that he was not following court conditions and placed him under arrest. During a search of the man, an officer located suspected methamphetamine.

29-year-old Wade Brodie, of Penetanguishene, has been charged with possession of methamphetamine contrary to the controlled drugs and substances act and fail to comply with a recognizance contrary to the Criminal Code.  

He appeared in Guelph Bail Court on Feb. 28, 2017.
