Minor injuries reported after cyclist struck by car

A cyclist sustained minor injuries after being struck by a car early Wednesday morning, report Guelph Police.

At approximately 7:20 a.m. the Guelph Police Service was called to the intersection of Stone Road West and the Hanlon Expressway. An eastbound motorist was turning from Stone Road West when he hit the cyclist.

The 21-year-old cyclist sustained a minor injury to his face and was treated at the scene by the Guelph-Wellington Paramedic Service. The 29-year-old Guelph male motorist was charged with making an unsafe turn.
