Guelph Police dealt with 571 calls for service over the weekend

The following news releases were issued today by the Guelph Police Service:

Break and enters
On Feb. 8, 2019 between 7:30 a.m. and 5:30 p.m., culprit(s) entered an apartment on Dublin Street. A number of cameras and computers were taken totalling over $10,000 in value. If you have any information about this incident please call Cst J. Finoro at 519-824-1212 ext. 7545.

During the day on Feb. 10, 2019, a different apartment in the same building on Dublin Street was broken into. A laptop was taken. If you have any information about this incident please call Cst S. Break and enter interrupted
On Feb. 8, 2019 at approximately 11 p.m., Guelph Police responded to a residence on Morris Street. The resident had observed a male with a flashlight attempt to break her basement window. The only description of the male was that he was dressed in dark clothing and carrying a backpack. Police with the assistance of their K9 searched the area with negative results.

From Friday, Feb. 8, 2019 at 7 a.m., until Monday, Feb. 11, 2019 at 7 a.m., Guelph Police dealt with 571 calls for service.
