Guelph Police Service dealt with 224 calls for service

The following news releases were issued today by the Guelph Police Service:

Break and enter
On Oct. 20, 2019, the Guelph Police attended to an Oxford Street address for the report of a break and enter. The culprit(s) entered a shed in the backyard and stole approximately $1,400 worth of miscellaneous items. The entry is believed to have occurrence over night between Oct. 18, 2019 and Oct. 19, 2019.

Two males arrested on warrants
On Oct. 20, 2019, a 42-year-old Kitchener male was arrested on a bench warrant. He was later released with a court date of Nov. 29, 2019.

On Oct. 20, 2019, a 45-year-old Guelph male was arrested on a bench warrant. He was held in custody pending a bail hearing.
