Motorcycle driver succumbs to injuries after collision

With the death of the motorcyclist, it has now become a Coroner’s investigation

On July 2, 2019 at approximately 2:53 p.m. the Guelph Police responded to a serious injury collision on Woodlawn Road West between Imperial Road North and Elmira Road. The collision involved a sedan and a motorcycle. 

Today at approximately 3:28 p.m., the Guelph Police Service were made aware that the 29-year-old male driver of the motorcycle had succumbed to his injuries. Out of respect for the family the Guelph Police will not be releasing the name of the deceased.

The investigation is ongoing and with the death of the motorcyclist, has now become a Coroner’s investigation.
